Established in 1995, Farmers
World Group aims to be a government partner in food security and
development and strives to be a market leader in enhancing farmers lives
and the community at large through provision of farm inputs such as
fertilizers, maize and legume seed, farm produce i.e. beans and soya,
materials for infrastructure and hardware, bicycles and bicycle spares
and various day-to-day household materials.

On the local scene,
Farmers World Group has participated in major national projects which
have benefited the nation. Our projects

supply of farm maize and
legume seed under Malawi Government Ministry of Agriculture Farm Input
Subsidy Program
supply of farm
inputs to tobacco growers nationwide on contract farming with tobacco
processing companies
supply of
construction materials for the construction of community
infrastructures nationwide through various Government agencies and
NGOs
supply of relief
food items to affected communities with government agencies, religious
groups, private organizations and
NGOs
supplying fertilizer on
credit to civil servants, agro-dealers and employees of various groups
and organizations
Farmers World Group is
committed to the provision of appropriate benefits to all stakeholders,
including the development of its employees through training and study
grants and adhering to non-discriminatory labour practices.
Being a local company, Farmers World knows and recognises that it also
has a responsibility to the local communities. We therefore
make sure that there is continuous support through our Corporate Social
Responsibility programmes such as the Feeding Programme at the
Government run Social Rehabilitation Centre in Falls, Lilongwe, the
monthly financial assistance to the Crisis Nursery run by Ministry of
Hope, Farmers World Kids Bursary and Leadership Fund which assists with
primary, secondary and tertiary school fees for children and young
adults with the aim of contributing to the country development, the
Farmers World Nurse of the Month Award at Bwaila Hospital Maternity Wing
which recognises the hard work and outstanding performance of the
nurses at the Wing, and other various donations to different
organisations and
groups.
